The music world is cuckoo for cocoa puffs over Grizzly Bear's new CD Veckatimest, which features the song "Two Weeks." It reminds me of Queen and the Beach Boys singing some of the more Brian Eno-y tracks on Bowie's Heroes album.
What do you think? |

I love that song. I haven't been necessarily fully on board with Grizzly Bear in the past, but that's an amazing track.

The monotony of the 2 chord keyboard "progression" mars the rest of the melody and makes the song irritating. I know that that is the U 2/ Coldplay style and influence that is popular now but the Grizzlys don't pull it off with Two Weeks. I have'nt heard any of their other songs.
